Thursday: Arrival Day & Travel to Killarney

Day 1: Play Ballybunion (Old)

Arrive Dublin Airport in the morning
Greeted by Lyons Links Representative and introduction to Chauffeur for the trip
Everyone to be brought to Killarney via Ballybunion
Play Ballybunion (Old) Golf Course in the early afternoon (World top 100 course)
Continue down to Killarney

Ballybunion Golf Links – Located on the north west coast of County Kerry, on a beautiful stretch of sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, you’ll find two wonderfully challenging and unique links golf courses at Ballybunion – the Old Course and the Trent Jones Cashen Course.

The Old Course exudes a majestic feel that simply cannot be compared to any other course on earth. With beautifully contoured fairways that tumble down through a blanket of grassy dunes, it’s no wonder these challenging holes have been consistently rated among the top courses in the world so make sure you play here on you Irish golf vacation.

Day 2 – Friday: Play Tralee Golf Links

Tralee Golf Club – Situated on the rugged Atlantic coast of Ireland’s south west lies the sensational Arnold Palmer designed Tralee Golf Course, a unique combination of traditional seaside golf links and world famous scenery. The links features towering dunes, undulating fairways, punishing rough and cliff top tees and greens.

View the white sandy beaches and the ocean waves breaking across the rocks against a backdrop of the majestic Slieve Mish mountain range running along the Dingle peninsula to the West. After your round of golf, retire to the clubhouse and savor some fine Irish hospitality in our bar and restaurant while taking in the panoramic views.

Day 3 – Saturday: Play Old Head golf Links

- Day trip to Old Head
- Play the stunning Old Head Golf Course
- Stay the night in the perfectly located Killarney Plaza Hotel

Old Head – The dramatic almost-island on which the golf course is situated rises hundreds of feet above the water, with only with dramatic cliffs separating the rolling hills from the sea. The classic links layout is simple but interesting and naturally there are spectacular views from every hole, especially the nine that play from atop the cliffs

Day 4 – Sunday: Waterville Golf Links (option for Dooks)

- Enjoy a Full Irish or Continental Breakfast
- Take the Ring of Kerry to Waterville
- (Option to play Dooks Golf Links on the way to Waterville. Waterville would then be played in the afternoon. Extra fee for this would be €175 per person)
- Play Waterville Golf Links
- Travel back to Killarney
- Stay the night in the perfectly located Killarney Plaza Hotel

Waterville Golf Club – With majestic views of the Wild Atlantic Ocean and the nearby Reeks mountain range, which is home to the highest mountain in Ireland, Dooks Golf Links offers a visual feast of scenery at the edge of Dingle Bay as well as a technical challenge for all golfers. Dooks is consistently ranked in the top 50 courses in the world.

Day 5 – Monday: Travel to Dublin

- Travel up to Dublin this day
- Enjoy the afternoon in Dublin City
- Check into a highly rated 4* hotel in Dublin City Centre for 3 nights

Day 6 – Tuesday: Play The Island Golf Club

- Enjoy a Full Irish or Continental Breakfast
- Transfer over to The Island
- Play The Island Golf Course
- Transfer back to Dublin City
- Stay the night at a highly rated 4* Hotel in Dublin City Centre

The Island Golf Club – The Island Golf Club, founded in 1890, is a traditional private Members’ golf club with a proud history of upholding the best traditions of amateur golf. Overlooked by the North County Dublin village of Malahide, the links is located in some of the most stunning dunes on the east coast of Ireland. It is also one of the oldest golf courses in Ireland and was ranked 13th in Golf Digest Ireland’s Top 100 Courses in 2015.

It enjoys a growing international reputation and currently hosts Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship and will co-host strokeplay qualifying for the British Amateur Championship in 2019.

The Island Golf Club is delighted to welcome visitors to play this beautiful but challenging links.

Day 7 – Monday: Play Portmarnock (Old)

Day 8 Thursday: Departure Day

CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS

(Effective July 1, 2018)

Conditions & General Information: The conditions below form the basis of any contract between you and Lyons Links(the Company). When you contact the Company to book your tour, you appoint them to act as your agent to obtain the requested services for you. When they have done so, and you have confirmed the booking and paid the deposit, they will accept responsibility for providing your vacation from that point, onwards. No employee or representative of the Company has the authority to change these conditions or information. This Agreement shall be governed by the substantive laws of the Republic of Ireland.

Deposit & Final Payment: Full Payment is required to confirm the package above.

Cancellation: No Refunds under any circumstances are given for the package stated above.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend all clients to purchase travel insurance individually to offset any liability incurred by you the customer, in the case of an inability to travel

Changes: An administrative fee of €50.00 per change per person will be charged for changes requested by client after deposit has been received and confirmation issued. In most cases, changes cannot be made less than 60 days before travel.

Responsibility: Lyons Links, as the tour operator, and its selling agents act only as agents in securing and booking the hotel accommodations and other land tour services provided as others as independent contractors. Lyons Links, its selling agents or the specified air carriers assume and accept no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident. delay, changes or inconvenience caused by: any force majeure – health risks – reason of war or threat of war – riots – civil strife – terrorist activity – industrial disputes – acts, omission, neglect, delay or default of any person engaged in providing any tour services including transportation and accommodation – technical problems to transport – closure or congestion of airports or ports – building work – extended hotel closure – cancellations or changes of schedules by airlines – interruption or failure of public utilities outside the control of the hotel and similar events beyond our control, including storms, tempests and hurricanes.

If any tour service or its reasonable equivalent is not provided due to events beyond the reasonable control of Lyons Links, the company will not be held liable for a refund. It is understood that Lyons Links shall have no other or further responsibility or liability either for the accuracy of any representation or the non-provision of any tour services.

Transport by aircraft, rail, ship or coach will depend on the conditions of carriage of the relevant carrier. These conditions of carriage may limit or exclude the carrier’s liability to you under international law (such as the Warsaw Convention). Lyons Links is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident or illness on any vehicle or at any place throughout the tour.

Golf Handicaps: Some clubs require visitors to show handicap cards. While this is not particularly common we strongly recommend you travel with a handicap card, and accept no responsibility if you do not and are subsequently denied golf. Certain clubs also place maximum handicap restrictions on visitors. If your handicap is greater than 24 (men) or 36 (ladies) please notify us in order we can discuss which clubs may have relevant restrictions. Also, please note that Lyons Links accept no responsibility for the playing conditions of any golf courses, including changes caused by course maintenance or weather conditions.

Brochure Accuracy: As far as is known all information in the promotional and other materials of the Company is accurate at the time of publication. The route of the tour provided at quotation phase is open to change but all the courses listed on the itinerary will be included. Where an issue with hotel or tee-time availability arises between quotation and the receipt of booking deposits, Lyons links will provide comparative alternative accommodation and/or tee times. Options will be agreed with the Group leader.

Caddies: As a free service to clients, Lyons Links will request caddies for those who wish them, however they cannot be guaranteed. They may only be requested for the entire duration of a trip, and not for individual rounds. If you request caddies, Lyons Links will forward a request for caddies in advance of your visit. The golf clubs will make every effort to secure caddies but they are neither employed by the golf clubs nor by Lyons Links.
