Dromoland Castle Resort – This was the ancestral home of the O’Briens of Dromoland who were the Kings of Thomond and whose lineage goes back 1,000 years to Brian Boru, the only High King of Ireland.

Day 2: Dromoland Golf Club

Dromoland Golf & Country Club – Set in the stunning surrounds of Dromoland Castle. Take in the majesty of the 15th Century Castle as you enter the estate, winding up through the golf course and surrounding lakes.

Playing over 6,824 yards for Men and 5,242 for Ladies, the championship Dromoland Golf Course has been described as an experience never to be forgotten, presenting a stern challenge to both professionals and amateurs.

Designed by the internationally renowned Ron Kirby and JB Carr, this great course requires the perfect blend of distance and accuracy, risk and reward.

Day 3: Adare Manor Resort

Adare Manor – Home to Two Irish Opens and the J.P Mcmanus invitation which is set to return in 2015. Tiger Woods is one of the most famous golfers to compete at Adare Manor. The golf club also graciously hosted the Donal Walsh charity classic this year which was greatly supported by many local celebs including Ronan Keating and Bryan McFadden.

Day 4: Dublin Trip

Grafton Street – It has a great variety of retail stores including cafe’s, bars, restaurants and hotels and caters to shoppers searching for all your unique Irish gifts. If you can’t find it on Grafton Street it can’t be found.

Grafton Street highlights the cultural aspects of the area which are an integral part of this experience. You will see the talent and creativity of the many different street performers on Grafton Street. The famous street has become renowned as a launch pad for musical acts and has played host to U2 front man Bono.

Day 5: Lahinch Golf Club

Lahinch Golf Club – Voted one of the top 50 golf courses in the world and one of the top ten seaside courses in the world. Built in 1892 by old Tom Morris and remolded by A. Mackzie, and M. Hawtree.

It has been described as ‘The St Andrews of Ireland’ and many other complimentary titles. Those who know and love the place firmly believe that Lahinch Golf Club doesn’t need comparison with any of the game’s other world class venues.

From the infant days back in 1892 up to its 125th anniversary, the Club has stood out on its own merits as a golfing institution like none other.

Lahinch Golf Club is renowned for the way the links has retained all of its old virtues. It has benefited from the willingness, over the decades, to move with the times and is now regarded as one of the best and most enjoyable challenges to be found anywhere in the golfing world. The legendary Old Tom Morris set the highest standards for the course from the outset. He was followed by equally celebrated architects Charles ‘Mo’ Gibson and Dr. Alister MacKenzie. In more recent times, the expertise of Dr. Martin Hawtree ensures its place in the higher echelons of all golf rankings.
