Day 1: Arrival

Old Course Hotel – Bordering the renowned 17th Road Hole of the Old Course, the Old Course Hotel overlooks the famous links courses, the West Sands Beach and the beautiful Scottish coastline. This prestigious AA Five Star-awarded hotel has 144 rooms including 35 suites and is recognised as one of Europe’s leading resorts. The Old Course Hotel features a combination of classically elegant and contemporary interiors, and French designer Jacques Garcia designed many of the hotel’s suites. Located just a short stroll from the historic university town of St Andrews, it’s a great vacation spot for golfers and non-golfers alike.

The New Course St. Andrews – The oldest ‘new’ course in the world, the second course at the Home of Golf was built by the Keeper of the Green Tom Morris in 1895 and it was imaginatively named to differentiate from its famous neighbour. Boasting undulating fairways and challenging greens, the New Course is a classic test of Links golf.
The British Golf Museum – Has collection that tells the fascinating story of British golf, through material dating from the 17th century to the present day. It is the most comprehensive golf collection in Britain, and one of the finest worldwide, celebrating golf from grass roots to international level.
Over 16,000 items cover equipment (clubs, balls, manufacturing and clothing), prizes (trophies and medals), decorative art (artworks, ceramics, silverware and ephemera), film, photographs and archives (books, periodicals, programmes and patents). The displays and archives are enhanced by unique loan collections from The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and The Women Golfers’ Museum.
The entire collection is a Recognized Collection of National Significance, formally acknowledged as being of great importance to the life and culture of Scotland, and internationally significant. The Recognition scheme, run by Museums Galleries Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government, promote and supports these collections.


Day 3: The Castle Course St. Andrews

The Castle Course St. Andrews – The newest addition to St Andrews Links, The Castle Course opened in 2008 becoming the seventh course at the Home of Golf and part of the largest public golfing complex in Europe. Set on a rugged cliff-top with spectacular views over St Andrews, The Castle Course offers a memorable golfing experience.
Visit St. Andrews Cathedral- Explore the remains of Scotland’s largest and most magnificent medieval church. Even in its ruinous state, the cathedral remains a prominent landmark highly visible from the sea.


Day 4: Golf at Kingsbarns

Kingsbarns co-hosts the annual European Tour’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship together with the Old Course at St Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links. In 2017 The Ricoh Women’s British Open will be contested at Kingsbarns.


Day 5: Golf at Carnoustie

Carnoustie – The Championship Course has hosted seven Open Championships, one Ladies Open and one Seniors Open making it one of the very few to have done so in the UK. It is one of the three courses used for the annual Dunhill Links, the others being Kingsbarns and the Old Course in St Andrews. The Senior Open returns was played here in 2016, and then the Open Championship will return to the Carnoustie Championship Course in 2018.

Day 6: The Old Course at St Andrews

The Old Course at St Andrews – No Introduction needed here. Mecca, the Holy grail, Heaven on earth for all golfers. The old couse is where it all began and continues to happen. Play golf where it was first played and also where the gratest players of all time have battled it out for Open Championships. On the bucket list of most golfers, St. Andrews does not dissappoint from the moment you arrive in the town to the moment you leave.
The famous Swilcan Bridge on the 18th hole of the Old Course at the Home of Golf is one of the most iconic settings in golf. When you are here I am sure you will want to take a picture and remember all those golfers ( Famous or not) who have crossed before you.

Day 7: The Jubilee Course St. Andrews

The Jubilee Course St. Andrews – The third championship course at the Home of Golf, the Jubilee is considered by many to be the most challenging course on the famous Links. Built in 1897, it was originally intended for use by ladies and beginners; however, after seeing its prime golfing location between the New Course and the sea, the Jubilee was converted to a championship layout in 1988.

Day 8: Departure
